Warning/Disclaimer: Bad language. Not about me.

It really annoys to listen to people who are supposed to love you, but all they have to say are negative things to you and put you down to make them feel better about themselves. Really, do you feel that low about yourself that you need to be a jerk to your “so-called” loved one? Half of these people sit there and think their poop don’t think, but we all know it does.

People who have these type of people in their lives, in my opinion, should cut ties. Why would someone want to hear how they have supposedly “messed up” in the past whenever they talk to their loved one? What a bunch of crap. This really annoys me. Your loved ones should motivate you, encourage you, and love you unconditionally – not sit their and judge you and proclaim their greatness…..

These people need to get with the times and stop living in the past and what happened in the past. The past is the past people. Get into the 2000’s, not the 1990’s. Is it really so important to bring up old junk over a decade later? Shouldn’t we all be happy and live in unity…..? I guess we just all need to live by the old adage – “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

Dinner was absolutely delightful as expected. The noodles were just right, the sauce was very flavorful, and the meatballs were divine. Who would have ever thought that I would like Swedish Meatballs? I can’t wait to eat the leftovers tomorrow!

The yummy plate!

Doesn’t that look tasty? Not the most attractive dish, but damn was it good. My husband was telling me how there are so many different ways to make Swedish Meatballs. All different regions have their own variations of the traditional dish. My husband chose to go the traditional route. I give him an A+.

Up close and yum!

I hope everyone else had a wonderful dinner! Oh yes, and those pictures are from my husband’s portions not mine. We all know I would DIE if I ate that much, literally……

Life has been so hectic…..

I have been so tired all day. I really can’t think of anything interesting or quirky to write other than my husband is making another delicious dinner tonight. He is cooking Swedish Meatballs and they smell great. I can’t wait until dinner is served. What are your thoughts on Swedish Meatballs?

What do you think of Swedish Meatballs?

Why does the weekend fly by so fast?  It seems like just yesterday was Friday and I was looking forward to the weekend.  Now within 12 hours I head back to the daily grind of the work week.  Last week was very stressful and busy, I hope this week isn’t as stressful.  There is lots to be done at work.  I am just happy that I’ve finally had the opportunity to work on a project.

For the past few hours I’ve been looking through old videos that I have stored on my computer.   They are mainly from a few years ago and are very funny.  Looking back, I now see what an obnoxious person I was when I drank.  Good thing I rarely drink anymore.

I better be going because the hubby almost has dinner ready.  Tonight he made shrimp scampi and I can hardly wait!  Prior to surgery I hated fish/shrimp/any seafood with a passion.  These days I actually seem to like it.  Very weird.

Be sure to check out my good friend MrsBlackBanana!

As I sit here all I can smell is the wonderful aroma of what my husband has cooking on the stove.   He is a great cook and I look forward to every fresh made meal that he prepares.   How did I get so lucky?   Tonight he is making an asian-inspired dish that I’m sure will be absolutely delightful!

Earlier today we took our fuzz faced kids to the dog park and they absolutely enjoyed it.   Our dogs really love to play with other dogs and run around.   I think that we should take them to the dog park more often so that they have the opportunity to socialize and get some of their energy out.

After the dog park we went to the local Wal-Mart.  We had forgotten my wheelchair at the house and, of course, because of the dreary weather I was hurting.  My husband told me I should use one of those motorized carts, so I decided to use one instead of hobble the store in pain.   All throughout the store I was starred at by people, I’m assuming because I was using the cart.  Seriously, just because I’m young doesn’t mean I can’t use those carts.  I have a disability.  It’s like, “do you want me to get up and walk for you?“   In all actuality I really wouldn’t even need to get up and walk if someone just looked at my legs they would notice my disability.   People in this state just never seem to amaze me with their ignorance!

The hubby is calling me for dinner.  I’m off to go enjoy that mouth-watering food.   What is everyone else having for dinner?

It’s a Saturday morning and I’m up before 9am.  What is up with that?   What happened to the days of sleeping in and loving it?   I guess your body gets adjusted to getting up early during the week for that daily grind that when it comes weekend time it just wants to stay on schedule.   No more sleep until noon days for me.

I’m really itching to go visit Southern California again.  I miss my friends and family down there.  It’s not easy to just up and go on vacation though with four fuzz faced kids.   Why do we have four dogs?   Really, it’s beyond me at times.   I think that we should give two of them up to good homes and cut down our pack.   My husband and I discussed why we possibly have four dogs and we only came to one conclusion….   We had a miscarriage last year and since then have been unsuccessful in becoming pregnant.   We think that we have all our fuzz faced freaks to fill the void.

In other news, I feel blah today, like I’m coming down with something.  My husband has been feeling ill for the past two days, maybe I’m catching his little bug.   I think I’ll just go downstairs and whip up some breakfast for the hubby and then zone out on the couch.

Sonic has finally made it to my neck of the woods.   Those of you who know me, know I absolutely used to adore Sonic and would drive miles to get my “fix.”  All these years how I wished for a Sonic to be within a half an hour of my house and now I have one within a block of my house….A BLOCK! Great timing Sonic now that I can’t eat you! How you toy with my mind.

My husband and I thought that this new Sonic would cause a huge congestion issue in our area, but surprisingly enough it hasn’t. Maybe my husband and I will go to it one of these days between 2pm and 4pm for those delicious happy hour drinks…..

If you go to Sonic my recommendation to you is the following:

Sonic cheeseburger with cheesy tater tots and a cherry limeade.
